If you zrank someone who sucks more than you, that's gloating, doesn't hurt them at all, and *shouldn't* emotionally scar them or anything.

Although I might be able to see where you're coming from; but in that case, I'd say fire the guy you pay to punch you in the face every time you get zranked.

the only thing that would make me laugh harder when they Zrank me is if they danced on me after they zrank me. zrank is just the lame version of rank. Rank takes skill to get, even if your just running touchers. Zrank might as well be an ebay emote, since you can just get the gold, buy the keys, open the chest, and than think you got skills 'cus you have a gold spear with other weps, that wont do anything but make your e-peen bigger... or at least thats what you think.

For someone being so concerned about people using their title-based emote on you, I don't think you're in any position to say anybody is emotionally scarred.

I'm not necessarily on the side of keeping the emotes, but they're not that big of a deal.

Avarre wasn't saying that you should live your life like that... as Avarre stated, its a GAME, not RL... Do what you want in game, it doesn't really matter. If people let what you do affect them that is their own fault.

If you don't like being /ranked, you can 1: Not die so much. 2: Get a higher rank then them and /rank them back. I don't see what the issue is. If you die a lot, and don't like the /rank being flashed at you...learn to not die so much, or play PvE instead (though you might want to avoid the Charr, as their gloat might offend you).

This just reminded me, a similar incident with some newspaper report about some kid who was apparently "tea-bagged" at school and the paper blamed the occurrence to video games like Halo and Counter-Strike for promoting the action.

Turns out it was just harmless fun (no sexual assault or anything like that, just re-enacting the movements or whatever) but the carebears behind the newspaper had to make a story out of it...

don't care actually, but find it extremely hilarious when players zrank you after you've kill them a thousand time 1vs1, after which they bring their buddies, kills your character and zrank you.

some of those have tigers and bambi emotes too
